SRINAGAR, Dec 9: The inaugural Open Super Cup Women’s Hockey Championship, hosted by Hockey J&K in partnership with the J&K Sports Council, came to a thrilling conclusion today. The final match, held at Polo Ground in Srinagar, featured an intense showdown between teams from Srinagar District and Baramulla District.
In an exciting clash, Baramulla District emerged victorious with a score of 6-2 against Srinagar District, demonstrating outstanding skill and teamwork.
The event was graced by the presence of Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Eidgah, Mubarak Gul, who served as the chief guest, alongside Bashir Ahmad Bhat, DDC Khansahab, who was the guest of honour.
A significant number of sports enthusiasts gathered to cheer on the players.
Following the match, Mubarak Gul presented awards to the winning team and conveyed his best wishes to all participants, commending their commitment and sportsmanship.
