NEW DELHI, Mar 3: On World Wildlife Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaffirmed his dedication to protecting and conserving the remarkable biodiversity of our planet.
The 68th session of the United Nations General Assembly declared March 3 as World Wildlife Day on December 20, 2013, to honor and promote awareness of the Earth’s wild fauna and flora.
“On this #WorldWildlifeDay, let’s renew our pledge to safeguard and preserve the magnificent biodiversity our planet possesses,” Modi stated.
“Every species is essential — let’s ensure their survival for future generations! We take great pride in India’s efforts to conserve and protect wildlife,” the Prime Minister added. (Agencies)
