NEW DELHI, Dec 12: On Thursday, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal conveyed optimism regarding India’s economic recovery by the end of this fiscal year, despite the prevailing global challenges.
He emphasized that India is poised to remain the fastest-growing economy in the world this year as well.
“We had an election in the first quarter, and understandably, policy-making and decisions related to growth or infrastructure spending tend to decelerate during election periods, resulting in a lag effect.
