SAMBA, Dec 30: The Jammu and Kashmir Police have detained a notorious criminal in the Ramgarh area of Samba District under the stringent Public Safety Act (PSA). Following his arrest, he has been placed in District Jail Kathua.
Sunil Kumar, a resident of Radwan in Tehsil Ramgarh, has been implicated in multiple cases across various police stations, including Ramgarh, Ghagwal, Kathua, Rajbagh, and Billawar, highlighting his ongoing criminal activities, as stated by a police official.
To prevent him from engaging in further criminal behavior, a dossier under the PSA was put forward against him. The District Magistrate of Samba subsequently approved the dossier and issued a PSA warrant.
This warrant was executed by a team from Police Station Ramgarh, led by the SHO of Ramgarh, under the guidance of SDPO Vijaypur and the overall supervision of SSP Samba Varinder Manhas, according to the police official.
