JAMMU, Mar 5: The Financial Commissioner (Revenue) of Jammu and Kashmir has commenced departmental proceedings against Shabir Ahmed Gorsi, the former Patwari of Halqa Chak Lala, Jammu, who was also responsible for Patwari Deeli and is currently stationed in Pulwama.
This action comes in the wake of FIR No. 16/2016 filed by the Vigilance Organization Jammu (now known as ACB).
In a partial modification of an earlier directive, Rakesh Kumar (IAS), Additional Deputy Commissioner (Adm.), Jammu, has been designated as the Inquiry Officer, succeeding Shishir Gupta (IAS), who has been reassigned to the position of Deputy Commissioner Shopian.
