JAMMU, Feb 8: Armed suspects reportedly targeted Indian Army personnel stationed along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Keri sector of Rajouri district. This assault occurred in the afternoon, with suspects believed to be acting from across the border.
Sources from the Indian Army indicate that several gunshots were directed at the troops, who promptly returned fire towards the originating location. Search operations are currently underway in the vicinity of the incident.
Sources further revealed that a patrolling unit of the Indian Army came under fire from the suspects at approximately 2 PM today near Baratgala in the Keri sector of Rajouri. “So far, there have been no reported casualties or injuries, and search efforts are still ongoing in the area,” they noted.
