JAMMU, Jan 30: The Jammu and Kashmir government announced the transfer and posting of five senior IAS officials on Thursday as part of administrative reforms.
According to the order, Jatin Kishore (IAS, AGMUT:2020), who currently serves as Additional Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat and also holds the position of Director, Information J&K, will be taking up the role of Deputy Commissioner in Ganderbal.
Shishir Gupta (IAS, AGMUT:2020), formerly the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Jammu, is now appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Shopian. He will be replacing Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar (JKAS), who is directed to report to the General Administration Department for further assignment.
Nitish Rajora (IAS, AGMUT:2021), currently the Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Jammu (North), has been reassigned as Director, Information J&K.
Rakesh Kumar (IAS, AGMUT:2021), who serves as Sub-Divisional Magistrate in Hiranagar, will now become the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Jammu.
Lastly, Shubhankar Pratyush Pathak (IAS, AGMUT:2022), Sub-Divisional Magistrate in Akhnoor, Jammu, is now appointed as Sub-Divisional Magistrate in Uri, Baramulla, replacing Javid Ahmad Rather (JKAS), who will also report to the General Administration Department for further posting.
