JAMMU, Feb 27: Due to significant mud slush at Mehad Ramban, the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) has been closed for all vehicular traffic from both directions, as stated by officials on Thursday.
A traffic police representative mentioned, “All vehicular movement has been halted on Jammu-Srinagar NHW because of mud slush at Mehad Ramban; crews are currently on site working.”
“We advise people to avoid unnecessary travel, especially during night hours on NH 44, due to heavy rainfall and falling stones in several areas between Nasri and NAVYUG Tunnel. For updates, please call 9419993745,” he added.
