SRINAGAR, Jan 29: J&K Bank has unveiled Interactive Signages at its Corporate Headquarters in a move to enhance customer service.
The launch, officiated by MD & CEO Amitava Chatterjee, was attended by Executive Director Sudhir Gupta, General Managers, DGMs, and other senior staff.
During the inauguration, Chatterjee stated, “India’s banking sector has experienced significant digital transformation in the past five years, and at J&K Bank, we aspire to lead this change within our operational sphere. The implementation of these interactive digital signages is a vital addition, acting as a centralized digital resource for critical banking information necessary for regulatory compliance, grievance resolution, product insight, and financial education.”
“These signages will be crucial for gathering customer feedback, which forms the foundation of our service improvement strategy. Their interactive capabilities will continually enhance user experience, ensuring a smooth and completely digital banking journey for our clients,” he added.
DGM (BPR/IT) Mohammad Muzafar Wani provided an in-depth overview of the project at the event.
The Interactive Signages are designed to facilitate customer interactions and function as digital kiosks that offer a broad array of banking services. These self-service terminals will grant swift and convenient access to essential banking details, ultimately aiming to minimize wait times in branches.
With 100 branches already outfitted with these self-service terminals, this initiative represents the completion of Phase 1 of the project. The Bank plans to roll out this feature to more branches in the upcoming phases.
