KATHUA, Dec 6: In a crucial move to enhance its banking services, J&K Bank has officially launched an off-site ATM at the SICOP Complex, Integrated Industrial Development Centre (IIDC) Govindsar in Kathua.
The inauguration was carried out by MLA Kathua Dr. Bharat Bhushan, accompanied by J&K Bank’s Zonal Head (Kathua) Sanjeev Kumar, BDO Kathua, key industrialists, SICOP officials, along with a lively group of customers, local residents, and bank staff.
Dr. Bharat Bhushan expressed his appreciation to J&K Bank for introducing world-class banking solutions to the area, emphasizing that the new ATM would serve industrialists, their workforce, laborers, and local community members by meeting their financial needs. He acknowledged the bank’s essential role in fostering the economy of Jammu and Kashmir, especially in more remote regions.
Sanjeev Kumar, Zonal Head, Kathua, stated, “We are excited to present this ATM to the industrial sector, which has been a long-awaited request from the industries association. Its strategic placement will benefit not just industrialists and their teams but also residents in the surrounding community.”
The event concluded with a discussion among Dr. Bhushan, Sanjeev Kumar, industrialists, and customers, who conveyed their gratitude for the bank’s initiative and pledged their support for the bank’s expansion in the area.
