SRINAGAR, Jan 28: J&K Bank has earned another accolade by securing the prestigious ‘Best Digital Sales, Payments and Engagement’ award in the ‘Medium Size Banks Category’ at the 20th IBA Annual Banking Technology Conference and Citations-2024.
This award was presented by T Rabi Sankar, the Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), to Mohammad Muzafar Wani, the Bank’s Deputy General Manager (BPR/IT), who was joined by the Bank’s Chief Information Security Officer and Chief Data Officer.
Expressing his satisfaction regarding this achievement, MD & CEO Amitava Chatterjee stated, “This esteemed recognition from the IBA underscores our Bank’s dedication to digital transformation, innovation, and solutions centered around customer needs. The event, themed “Future Ready Banking for Viksit Bharat,” included industry experts and technology leaders in panel discussions on various subjects such as core systems & infrastructures, fintech partnerships, developing next-gen open banking frameworks, and digital lending.
The accomplishments of participating banks were evaluated by a jury comprised of prominent experts from IIT Bombay, NPCI, and former MD/CEO of NSDL.
