SRINAGAR, Dec 18: J&K Bank celebrated National Pensioners Day across its branches with various initiatives designed to enhance its relationship with pensioners. The Bank acknowledged the day by sending warm SMS greetings to all pensioners and organizing special meetings for pensioners, including family pensioners, at multiple branches.
During these gatherings, bank officials offered greeting gestures, listened to feedback, and resolved any concerns. They also shared details about banking products and services aimed at improving financial convenience for senior citizens, emphasizing tailored solutions and cross-selling opportunities.
At the Shalamar Branch in Jammu, General Manager and Divisional Head (Jammu) Sunit Kumar inaugurated a dedicated pension counter, as per RBI guidelines, to ensure a more comfortable service experience for pensioners.
Moreover, the Bank introduced a nostalgic video series named “Yadoon Ki Jama Poonji” on its social media channels, which celebrates the Bank’s long-standing relationships with its pensioners, former staff, and customers, showcasing its legacy of trust and commitment.
MD & CEO Baldev Prakash stated, “National Pensioners Day allows us to honor the significant contributions of our pensioners and senior citizens. Through initiatives like Pensioners’ Meets and ‘Yadoon Ki Jama Poonji’, we reinforce our commitment to addressing their needs and strengthening our bond.”
