New Delhi, Feb 22: The J&K Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has been honored as the top branch at the 73rd Annual function of the Northern Regional Council of the Institute, held at Vigyan Bhawan here.
The award was conferred by the President of ICAI, CA. Charanjot Singh Nanda, and the Chairman of NIRC of ICAI, CA. Abhinav Aggarwal, to the J&K branch, which was represented by its Chairman, CA. Vineet Kohli, along with CA. Sourav Pargal (Vice Chairman), CA. Vikas Purdhani (Immediate Past Chairman), and CA. Sanchit Aggarwal (Newly elected member for 2025-29), in the presence of esteemed Central Council Members from the Northern Region and members of the Northern Regional Council of ICAI.
These awards are presented annually to recognize the best-performing branches of ICAI across all Northern regions, evaluating various excellence parameters. The J&K branch, under the leadership of CA. Vineet Kohli, received this award for its exceptional contributions and achievements. It highlights the branch’s dedication to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and service.
Notably, this is the first time that the J&K Branch of ICAI has secured the top award on a national level, competing against 176 branches and 50 overseas chapters of ICAI.
The Executive Committee of the J&K Branch of ICAI also includes CA. Priya Seht (Secretary), CA. Ayush Sawhney (Executive Member), and CA. Nakul Saraf (Past Chairman).
