JAMMU, Jan 27: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has announced an increase in the Dearness Allowance (DA) for its employees under the 7th Pay Commission, raising it from 50% to 53% of the basic salary, effective July 1, 2024.
According to a recent order, the arrears from this additional DA installment, covering the period of July to December 2024, will be issued in cash in February 2025, and this will be included in the monthly salary starting from January 2025.
