SRINAGAR, Feb 6: Kashmir remains gripped by cold weather, with the renowned ski destination of Gulmarg experiencing a chilling low of -10.0°C, according to officials on Thursday.
Data from the Meteorological Department highlights that every weather station within the Kashmir division recorded sub-zero temperatures.
The minimum temperatures in Pahalgam and Gulmarg reached -6°C and -10°C, respectively. Meanwhile, Srinagar noted a low of -1.0°C.
The Meteorological Department in Srinagar forecasts predominantly dry weather for Kashmir over the next few days, with a chance of light rain and snow in isolated to scattered areas on February 9.
From February 10 to 11, the weather is expected to be generally overcast, with potential light rain and snowfall in several locations.
Dry conditions are anticipated to resume from February 12 to 14, followed by another period of cloudiness and light precipitation in isolated regions on February 15-16. (Agencies)
