J&K High Court Establishes Guidelines for Concurrent Charge Allowance

JAMMU, Jan 6: The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has established guidelines for the provision of Concurrent Charge Allowance to Judicial Officers, in accordance with Rule 5 of the J&K Judicial Officers (Allowances, Amenities, and Advances) Rules, 2024.
According to the directive, Judicial Officers who assume additional duties in another court will receive 5% of the salary scale for that extra position if the duration is between 10 to 15 days, and 10% if the duration falls between 15 to 30 days. This is contingent upon certification from the relevant District or Administrative Judge.
