JAMMU, Feb 6: A tragic accident occurred on Thursday in the Kunda Dhar Ponda area of Doda district, resulting in one fatality and five injuries. According to officials, a Maruti car with the registration number JK02AD-8791 lost control and plunged into a deep gorge. One person was killed in the incident, while five others were rescued and taken to GMC Doda for medical treatment by local residents and police. The deceased has been identified as Kavita Devi (15). The injured individuals include: Sunny (13), son of Melab Singh, from Baravan, Teh Barth Bagla, Doda; Sachan (15), son of Naresh Kumar, also from Baravan; Sanjana Devi (25), daughter of Bharat Raj, from Baravan; Sejal (23), daughter of Bharat Raj, from Baravan; and Punjab Singh (42). Meanwhile, the police have initiated an investigation and registered a case regarding the incident.
