Jammu, January 9: On Thursday, the Jammu and Kashmir Police attached the properties belonging to terror operatives based in Pakistan in the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to a police spokesperson, the assets belonging to Javid Iqbal, a resident of Rajdhani, Rajouri, who is currently wanted in a case registered at the Police Station Manjakote under Sections 2/3 of the EIMCO Act, have been seized.
The land, which measures 2 kanals and 1 marla, located in the village of Rajdhani, was attached following directives obtained from the Rajouri Court, the spokesperson revealed.
He noted that this operation was carried out in the presence of an executive magistrate and adhered to the due legal process.
The individual is accused of engaging in activities that support anti-national elements. Furthermore, he added that, “The attachment of properties represents ongoing efforts to dismantle the networks of Pakistan-based terror handlers and their associates operating within the region.”
The District Police remain dedicated to combating anti-national activities in the Rajouri district, he affirmed.
