Jammu, Mar 2: Officials from the Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department, led by Commissioner Secretary Yasha Mudgal, convened a review meeting to discuss the progress of current tourism projects, improvements in infrastructure, and the operational efficiency of the Tourism Development Authorities (TDAs) to enhance tourism in the area.
During the review of the CAPEX Budget for 2024-25, Yasha Mudgal stressed the importance of effectively utilizing available funds and ensuring the timely completion of ongoing projects.
She instructed the relevant agencies to guarantee that all projects planned for this financial year are finalized without any delays.
Emphasizing the need for streamlined administrative procedures, she advocated for faster project execution and high-quality service delivery to improve the tourist experience.
Mudgal called on authorities to adopt a proactive strategy for promoting sustainable and environmentally friendly tourism, utilizing digital platforms for outreach, and encouraging public-private partnerships for infrastructural growth.
