Srinagar, Mar 7: After a closure lasting nearly three months due to winter break, schools in Kashmir reopened on Friday.
Originally set to restart on March 1, the government extended the vacation by an additional week because of inclement weather conditions.
Around 10,000 government and private schools throughout the Kashmir valley resumed operations this morning, marking the return to academic activities.
