JAMMU, March 4: Sanjay Pandey, Vice Principal of KC Public School, participated in the Safeguarding Conference held at The British School in New Delhi. The event attracted more than 150 delegates from various parts of India and centered on child safeguarding, organized in collaboration with the UK’s Safeguarding Alliance.
Designed for school leaders, well-being advocates, and pastoral teams, the conference featured expert-led sessions from both the UK and India, offering essential insights into global safeguarding practices. These discussions aimed to equip educators with innovative strategies to promote the safety and well-being of students.
KC Public School has already taken significant measures to bolster its safeguarding initiatives, including training 60 teachers in Basic Counselling Skills over the past two years. This training is crucial for ensuring that staff can provide essential pastoral care and mental health support.
