JAMMU, Dec 14: A significant event took place today at Kendriya Vidyalaya Jindrah as the school celebrated the foundation day of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS). This occasion was dedicated to recognizing the foundational goals of KVS and its notable academic accomplishments.
The festivities commenced with the lighting of a lamp followed by the Saraswati Vandana. Principal Naveen Kumar emphasized the enduring legacy of KVS and its dedication to developing well-rounded individuals.
Students displayed the rich cultural tapestry of India through various performances in dance, song, and drama, filling the atmosphere with patriotic fervor. The school organized exhibitions showcasing student artwork, literacy and numeracy initiatives, and the Bharat Scouts and Guides program. Alumni also graced the occasion, reminiscing and sharing their fond memories. Additionally, a documentary detailing the school’s developmental journey was presented, serving as a reminder of its evolution over the years.
