NEW DELHI, Jan 26: On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished the nation a Happy Republic Day, emphasizing the need to uphold the values enshrined in the Constitution.
“Happy Republic Day! Today marks 75 glorious years of our Republic. We honor the remarkable men and women who crafted our Constitution, grounding our journey in democracy, dignity, and unity,” Modi expressed in a post on X.
“Let this celebration reinforce our commitment to the ideals of our Constitution and pave the way for a stronger, prosperous India,” he added.
India is set to commemorate its 76th Republic Day on Sunday with a grand display of the nation’s cultural diversity, unity, equality, development, and military strength at Kartavya Path in the capital.
