JAMMU, Jan 12: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has conveyed his warmest greetings to the public for the upcoming festivals of Lohri and Makar Sankranti, occurring on January 13th and 14th, respectively.
In his message, the Lieutenant Governor stated: “On this joyful occasion of Lohri and Makar Sankranti, I extend my best wishes to everyone and hope for their health, happiness, and prosperity.”
“These traditional festivals, celebrated with enthusiasm and joy, offer a sacred moment to honor the unwavering spirit of our diligent farmers and acknowledge their essential contributions to the growth of J&K,” he remarked.
“May these celebrations bring abundance and joy to all,” he added.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has also sent heartfelt wishes to the people on these auspicious occasions, hoping for joy, peace, and prosperity for all who celebrate.
