JAMMU, Dec 24: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has conveyed his warm wishes to the public on the delightful occasion of Christmas.
In his message, he stated, “This festival marking the birth of Jesus Christ is a time to celebrate and embody Lord Christ’s teachings of love, compassion, and forgiveness.
“I hope this sacred occasion encourages us to create a future where all individuals care for one another and cohabitate in peace, further strengthening our brotherhood. Let us recommit ourselves to live out the life and teachings of Jesus Christ for the betterment of humanity and advocate for the upliftment of the needy and disadvantaged,” he expressed.
“May this Christmas fill the hearts of everyone in the Union Territory with warmth, love, and goodwill towards each other,” he added.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah also extended his Christmas greetings to everyone celebrating this festive occasion throughout Jammu and Kashmir and beyond.
In his address, the Chief Minister characterized Christmas as a blessing for humanity, symbolizing peace, love, and compassion.
He highlighted the enduring significance of Jesus Christ’s principles, which continue to motivate values of kindness, forgiveness, and harmony in the present world.
