Jammu, Nov 30: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha convened a meeting to assess the arrangements for the upcoming written examination aimed at selecting Police Constables in J&K, held today at Raj Bhawan.
During the meeting, the Lieutenant Governor conferred with officials about the preparations in place for the examination across the Union Territory. He instructed the DIGs, DCs, SSPs, and senior officials to visit the examination centers to ensure a transparent, smooth, and incident-free process. “We must ensure that the examination is conducted without any issues,” he emphasized.
The attendees were briefed on all logistical aspects pertinent to the written examination for the Constable positions (Armed/IRP/Executive/SDRF), organized by the J&K Service Selection Board, scheduled for December 01, 2024.
Key participants included Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo; Principal Secretary of Home, Chandraker Bharti; ADGP Jammu, Anand Jain; IGP Kashmir, Vidhi Kumar Birdi; Principal Secretary to the Lieutenant Governor, Mandeep K. Bhandari; Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar; Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Vijay Bidhuri, along with all DIGs, Deputy Commissioners, and SSPs, who attended in person or via virtual means.
