LG Commits to Organ Donation and Registers Himself

Jammu, Jan 20: Today, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha pledged for Organ Donation by signing up on the Ayushman Bharat Organ Donation Registry under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India (notto.abdm.gov.in).
Representatives from the State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization (SOTTO) including Dr. Elias Sharma, Nodal Officer, Dr. Sanjeev Puri, Joint Director, and Irfan Ahmed Lone, Transplant Coordinator, visited Raj Bhawan to present the pledge certificate to the Lieutenant Governor.
Also present were Sandeep Jain, President, and Monika Jain, General Secretary of Bharatiya Jain Sangathan, J&K.
Previously, on January 19th, the Lieutenant Governor had shown his support for organ donation during an event organized by Bharatiya Jain Sansthan.
