Jammu, Jan 25: Today, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha attended the Laser and Sound Show held at the Blue Green Project, Ranbir Canal, in celebration of the eve of Republic Day.
Organized by Jammu Smart City Limited and Jammu Municipal Corporation, the show illustrated India’s historical journey, the contributions of our freedom fighters, and the nation’s progress over the years.
Inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the environmentally friendly Blue Green Project, implemented by Jammu Smart City, aims to enhance the quality of life for the residents.
The developed stretch along Ranbir Canal has transformed into a lively public space with amenities such as walkways, seating areas, a children’s park, high-quality lighting, water ATMs, an open-air gym, selfie spots, and various public utilities.
The Lieutenant Governor also toured the booths set up by different departments and self-help groups, showcasing the rich arts and crafts of Jammu and Kashmir.
