Jammu, Jan 6: Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, stated on Monday that the dream of connecting Kashmir to Kanyakumari via railway has now been realized. During the inaugural ceremony for the new Jammu Railway Division, LG Sinha remarked that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the government is fulfilling the aspirations of the populace in a timely manner, with the rail link to Kanyakumari being a significant milestone. He extended his appreciation to PM Modi and the Union Railway Minister for their special focus on the region. Sinha added, “Vande Bharat trains are set to enhance travel for the people and will soon reach Kashmir. Jammu is poised to become one of the finest railway stations globally, with many more developments on the horizon.” (KNO)
