Jammu, Dec 25: Today, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha honored former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya on their birth anniversary.
Speaking at a commemorative event at Pt. Madan Mohan Malaviya Inter College in Ghazipur, he remarked that Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya and Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee embody the soul of Bharat.
He noted that the vision of these two prominent leaders has significantly contributed to the socio-economic transformation of the nation.
“Mahamana’s unwavering commitment to public welfare and nation-building has been instrumental in realizing the concept of a self-reliant, modern, and united India. His vision has paved the way for advancements in education, technology, and industrial development in the country,” the Lieutenant Governor stated.
While paying tribute to Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, he reflected on the former Prime Minister’s lifelong dedication to nation-building and public welfare.
“For Atal Ji, nation was paramount over the individual. To reinforce this belief, he instilled the principles of ‘Indianization’ and ‘Nation-First’. It is imperative for every segment of society to collaborate and work towards making the nation self-reliant with unwavering dedication,” he emphasized.
The Lieutenant Governor urged citizens, particularly the youth, to recommit themselves to the ideals of Mahamana and Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, striving to foster a progressive society and working cohesively to realize the vision of Viksit Bharat.
“We shouldn’t dwell on the past, but instead draw inspiration from it to create a brighter future,” he asserted.
He underscored the crucial role that youth play in delivering public services at the grassroots level. To accomplish this, it is essential to develop a new framework for Jan-Bhagidari and leverage modern technologies for enhancing transparency and accountability across all tiers, he added.
“Unity is our strongest asset. The younger generation must work towards unifying society with resolve. I envision every individual laboring with the skill of an artist to sculpt a beautiful, triumphant, and prosperous India. I expect to see a sense of accountability, dedication to duty, and resolute determination among youth in the effort of nation-building,” he remarked.
The Lieutenant Governor highlighted that our cultural principles and values should take precedence in shaping the new political and economic framework.
“Today presents us with the opportunity to craft a brighter future for our country and to shift societal attitudes towards responsibilities. A comprehensive governmental approach should be embraced to achieve socio-economic objectives,” the Lieutenant Governor concluded.
