MAHAKUMBH NAGAR (UP), Feb 8: Anurag Thakur, a former Union minister and current Lok Sabha MP representing Hamirpur in Himachal Pradesh, along with his wife, participated in a sacred dip at the Sangam on Saturday, as reported by the Uttar Pradesh government.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) in Hindi, Thakur expressed, “On the auspicious occasion of Maha Kumbh in Punyadhara Prayagraj, I took a holy bath, offered prayers, and wished for the welfare of everyone along the banks where the divine rivers Maa Ganga, Maa Yamuna, and Maa Saraswati converge.”
“May the blessings of Maa Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati shower happiness, prosperity, and good fortune upon your lives,” he added. (Agencies)
