THANE, Dec 25: The health status of Vinod Kambli, the former Indian cricketer currently in the ICU of a private hospital in Thane, has been reported as stable, according to Maharashtra Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik, who visited him on Wednesday.
Kambli (52) was admitted to Akruti Hospital near Bhiwandi on December 21 due to a urinary tract infection.
“Vinod Kambli is a celebrated name in Indian cricket, consistently bringing pride to the nation with his exceptional performances. His eyes still reflect the unwavering determination and fighting spirit he has always exhibited on the field. He is currently stable, and I believe he will soon make a full recovery,” Sarnaik, an MLA from Thane, shared in a post on X. (Agencies)
