BOMIS Celebrates Annual Day

JAMMU, Dec 10: During the Annual Day function of Birla Open Minds International School, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary emphasized the importance of broad-based education. He stated that such an approach is essential for connecting the younger generation with moral values and practical life skills, thus enabling youth to play a significant role in nation-building.
Choudhary stressed that education should be holistic, going beyond mere tests and assessments. “Knowledge infused with understanding and guidance is crucial for connecting youth to moral principles and real-life applications,” he noted.
He also called for a dynamic teaching environment where educators are encouraged to think outside the standard curriculum and develop innovative educational methods.
The Deputy Chief Minister recognized the school’s efforts in fostering young minds and highlighted the role of cultural and educational events in shaping their futures.
The event celebrated student achievements through an Achievers’ Felicitation Ceremony, acknowledging their dedication in sports.
A highlight of the evening was the thematic play, “Anurakt,” which captivated the audience with its compelling narrative and vibrant performances, showcasing students’ talents and creativity. The play underscored the pivotal role of parental guidance in life and advocated for stronger parent-child relationships.
