JAMMU, Dec 15: A significant membership initiative under the “Sangathan Parv” program of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) took place on Sunday in the Marh Assembly constituency. Lok Sabha MP Jugal Kishore Sharma served as the chief guest for the event, while Marh MLA Surinder Kumar headed the proceedings. Notable attendees included District Development Council (DDC) member Balbir Lal, BJP district president Omi Khajuria, senior leader Rajinder Singh Chib, along with various Sarpanches, Panches, and other distinguished local figures.
During the event, numerous activists, motivated by the BJP’s vision, joined the party under the guidance of youth leader Aditya Verma. Among those who dedicated themselves to the BJP were Vishwas, Vishal, Atul, Aryan, Chetan, Pratham, Saarth, Sumanyu, Ritesh, Naman, and around two dozen more.
In his address to the audience, MP Jugal Kishore Sharma stated, “The BJP’s programs create pathways for youth opportunities and development. This membership drive will undoubtedly strengthen our organization further.” He reiterated the party’s dedication to the growth of the Marh region.
Jugal also highlighted several welfare schemes launched by the Modi Government aimed at benefiting youth, women, marginalized communities, and farmers, urging the public to make the most of these opportunities.
In welcoming the new members, MLA Surinder Kumar expressed his happiness, stating, “The BJP has consistently motivated youth to take initiative. Those who have joined today will receive unwavering support from the party to foster their growth and contribute to society.”
