Rajouri/Jammu, Dec 12: A seven-year-old girl tragically lost her life and her two older brothers became ill due to suspected food poisoning in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, according to officials.
This incident marks the second case of food poisoning reported in the district within five days, following the deaths of a man and his three children under similar circumstances last Sunday.
The siblings were brought to Kotranka civil hospital from Badhal village in Khawas this morning, where unfortunately, the young girl passed away, while her brothers, aged 9 and 11, were transferred to Government Medical College (GMC) hospital for advanced care.
Rajouri Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma visited the GMC hospital to check on the children’s condition, ensuring that the family receives all necessary support and resources during this difficult time.
