JAMMU, Jan 31: Arvind Gupta, Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Jammu West, commenced development work for a new lane adjacent to Krishna Nagar Park in Ward number 12 today.
With an estimated budget of Rs 30 lakh, this initiative is designed to improve local infrastructure and enhance the quality of life for community residents.
During the event, Gupta discussed the advancements made in Jammu under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, emphasizing that the BJP-led Government has transitioned from mere promises to real achievements, particularly focusing on modernizing Jammu through improved roads, drainage systems, and public areas.
He praised the efforts of local BJP workers and public representatives, highlighting their commitment to addressing civic concerns and accelerating development projects.
Gupta assured the community that infrastructure enhancements will persist across Jammu West, prioritizing roads, sanitation, and urban planning.
The inauguration ceremony saw the presence of several senior BJP leaders, including Mandal President Anil Angral, former corporator Jeet Angral, and various local dignitaries, along with representatives from the Jammu Municipal Corporation.
He urged residents to participate actively in the development process and reaffirmed the BJP’s pledge to transform Jammu into a model constituency for the Union Territory.
