KATHUA, February 18: In an effort to enhance modern banking facilities in growing industrial areas, J&K Bank has launched a new branch at the Ghatti Industrial Estate in Kathua.
MLA Rajiv Jasrotia officially opened the branch in the presence of Zonal Head (Kathua) Sanjeev Kumar.
During his speech, MLA Jasrotia remarked, “This new branch aligns with the Government’s focus on the industrial sector, which is pivotal for boosting economic growth and development in the nation. I am confident that this branch will play a vital role in stimulating industrial activities in the region and foster economic progress in J&K.”
He highlighted that the branch would cater to 14 panchayats, bringing financial services closer to the community.
Zonal Head Sanjeev Kumar reiterated the Bank’s dedication to a customer-focused approach, thanking the clients for their continued trust in the Bank and promising robust financial backing for local businesses.
He stated, “This region holds significant potential to emerge as a manufacturing hub, which can drive both economic growth and job creation. The purpose of this branch is to enhance collaboration with industry stakeholders and provide easy access to credit and financial solutions.”
Both the MLA and Zonal Head engaged with attendees at the inaugural event, who expressed their gratitude for the Bank’s proactive efforts in establishing a branch in the area.
