KATHUA, Dec 27: Dr. Bharat Bhushan, Member of the Legislative Assembly for Kathua, officially opened the COIR Board stall at the ongoing Crafts Bazar in Ram Lila Ground today. The stall, managed by the COIR Board under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), showcases a variety of coir products, including coir mattresses, compost, ornamental pots, decorative items, and door mats.
Sunita Gupta, Manager of the COIR Board’s Regional Office in Jammu, announced a special 15% discount on all products and encouraged the public to take advantage of this opportunity by purchasing high-quality coir products.
During his visit to the stall, MLA Dr. Bharat Bhushan commended the MSME Ministry’s efforts to promote coir products. He expressed hope that the Board would organize similar events in the future, allowing more people to benefit from eco-friendly and cost-effective coir products.
The event was also attended by BJP city Mandal president Rahul Dev, youth leaders Akshay Bharti, Devinder Singh, Varun Slathia, and numerous buyers who visited the stall during the inauguration.
