Jammu, Feb 26: A group of elected representatives from Reasi, led by Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member of Parliament, met with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday.
The delegation included Saraf Singh Nag, Chairman of the District Development Council Reasi, along with Legislative Assembly Members Baldev Raj Sharma and Kuldeep Raj Dubey. They presented a memorandum outlining demands aimed at the development of the Shiv Khori Shrine, enhancement of tourism potential in various areas, and the upgrade of infrastructure pertaining to tourism, water, power, and health, along with other significant issues affecting Reasi District.
The Lieutenant Governor assured the delegation that appropriate measures would be implemented to address the concerns they raised.
A separate delegation from Swarankar Sangh Jammu City also visited the Lieutenant Governor.
Additionally, representatives from the All India Registered Nurses Federation, J&K, led by President Vishav Mohan Sharma, had an audience with the Lieutenant Governor as well.
