Jerusalem, Feb 27: On Thursday, a vehicle drove into a group of pedestrians in northern Israel, an incident that police are investigating as a “suspected terror attack.” Medics reported that at least seven individuals were injured.
“We suspect this is a terror-related incident. Police successfully intercepted a suspicious vehicle and arrested a suspect believed to be responsible for the ramming incident,” stated the police, referring to the incident at the Karkur junction south of Haifa.
Magen David Adom, Israel’s emergency medical service, confirmed that their team was treating seven victims at the scene, with one reported in serious condition. (Agencies)
