New Delhi, Dec 12: The National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC), a state-run entity, has been designated as the project management consultant to oversee the completion of 16 real estate ventures by Supertech Ltd, totaling nearly Rs 9,500 crore. This decision is expected to bring relief to numerous homebuyers.
In a regulatory announcement made on Thursday, the firm revealed that the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), in an order dated December 12, 2024, has formally “appointed NBCC (India) Limited as Project Management Consultant for the completion of Supertech Ltd’s 16 projects”.
NBCC is set to finalize 16 projects, which together will consist of 49,748 residential units across Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, and Karnataka.
“The estimated construction cost for these projects is approximately Rs 9,445 crore, which includes a 3 per cent contingency. The consultancy fee is established at 8 per cent, inclusive of a 1 per cent marketing fee,” stated NBCC.
This public sector corporation primarily engages in project management consultancy (PMC) and the real estate sector.
Currently, NBCC is also working on completing stalled projects for the Amrapali Group under the directives of the Supreme Court. (PTI)
