Boston, Dec 22: The India Conference at Harvard (ICH) announced on Sunday that Nita Ambani, a pioneer in philanthropy, education, and culture, will be a key speaker at the much-anticipated India Conference at Harvard, taking place on February 15-16, 2025, in Boston.

“As one of the most significant voices from India, Ambani has made a substantial impact on more than 80 million lives through her initiatives focused on social equity and continues to champion India’s potential on the world stage,” the organizers stated.

Her recent milestones — including hosting the International Olympic Committee (IOC) session in India after 40 years and advocating for India’s bid for the 2036 Olympics — highlight the country’s increasing influence globally.

The India Conference at Harvard ranks among the largest and most influential student-led conferences in the US that focus on India. This annual event, held in collaboration with Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School, facilitates discussions about India’s evolving role in global affairs, uniting thought leaders, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and cultural figures.

This year’s conference will showcase over 80 esteemed speakers spanning various fields over two days, examining how Indian concepts and innovations are transforming global narratives.

Noteworthy highlights will include a fireside chat with Nita Ambani, Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, emphasizing her vision for India’s position in the global arena.

The event will also feature a policy Hackathon focused on addressing climate issues and enhancing financial inclusion in rural India, along with a startup pitch competition.

Ambani’s keynote address ties seamlessly into this year’s theme, ‘From India to the World’, which celebrates India’s rise as a global leader paving the way for peace, prosperity, and innovation,” the announcement noted.

Ayush Shukla, one of the co-chairs of the conference, remarked: “The India Conference continuously aims to expand the dialogue concerning India’s growth narrative. This year’s theme, ‘From India to the World’, encapsulates the essence of India’s transformational journey – where local creativity intersects with global influence.”

“This theme not only highlights the success stories of our technological advancements and developmental growth from India but also showcases the valuable lessons regarding collaborative communities, dynamic culture, resilience, and entrepreneurial spirit that we can offer.” (Agencies)
