Mumbai, Dec 12: The new Noida International Airport (NIA) announced a collaboration with Mahindra Logistics Mobility to introduce a premium, fully electric taxi service for passengers traveling to and from the airport.
This service, available 24/7, will offer premium pick-up and drop-off points at the arrival and departure areas, minimizing the distance passengers need to walk, according to NIA.
Rides can be booked through multiple channels, such as a dedicated mobile application, the airport’s website, a call center, airline partnerships, and onsite kiosks. This comprehensive approach aims to provide easy and accessible booking options for travelers, NIA stated.
The fleet will be managed with real-time adaptations based on passenger demand and flight schedules, ensuring reduced wait times and extended service hours, according to NIA.
“Our partnership with Mahindra Logistics Mobility allows us to deliver a premium, all-electric taxi service, providing a smooth and environmentally friendly ride right from the airport to your destination.
This innovative airport-branded cab service will establish new standards for passenger comfort and environmental accountability,” commented Christoph Schnellmann, CEO of Noida International Airport.
Additionally, the airport emphasized that drivers will receive comprehensive training in airport procedures and customer service excellence, ensuring a high-quality experience for passengers. (PTI)
