BHAGALPUR, Feb 24: Over ₹22,000 crores have been deposited into the bank accounts of 9.8 crore farmers nationwide as Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the 19th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme on Monday.
The Prime Minister also inaugurated multiple developmental projects in Bihar.
He was joined by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at an event in the state.
Attendees included various Union ministers, MPs, and MLAs, alongside state and central ministry officials.
Earlier, Modi expressed pride in India’s ‘annadatas’ (farmers) and reaffirmed the government’s dedication to enhancing their lives.
While responding to a thread shared by MyGovIndia on X, he stated, “We take pride in our annadatas and are committed to improving their lives.”
