JAMMU, Jan 18: Pace Hyundai Jammu officially unveiled the highly awaited CRETA Electric today at their showroom, with an introductory price set at Rs 17.99 lakh.
The launch event took place at Pace Hyundai’s Digiana showroom, with SSP Traffic Faisal Qureshi gracing the occasion as the chief guest, accompanied by additional SP Traffic Arvinder Singh Kotwal.
Among those in attendance were Pace Hyundai CEO Sahil Mahajan, Vicky Mahajan, GMs Sidharth Dhar and Rajinder Koul, SM Jagmohan Choudhary, along with prominent citizens, bankers, customers, and all Pace Hyundai staff.
In his speech, the SSP Traffic emphasized that the introduction of the CRETA Electric showcases Hyundai’s dedication to innovative design, cutting-edge technology, and remarkable performance.
The CRETA Electric aims to create a significant shift in the electric SUV market with its striking design, advanced technology, thrilling performance, and superior safety features, establishing a strong presence in the rapidly expanding SUV sector.
Pace Hyundai CEO Sahil Mahajan expressed his pride in launching the CRETA Electric, highlighting it as a testament to Hyundai’s innovation and performance ethos.
He noted that the CRETA Electric’s design, technology, and safety attributes are expected to surpass customer expectations and solidify Hyundai’s status as a leading provider of smart mobility solutions in India.
The vehicle is offered with two battery options: a 51.4 kWh battery (long-range) providing 473 km on a single charge, and a 42 kWh battery permitting 390 km on one charge. The long-range 51.4 kWh battery generates 126 kW (171 PS) of power, while the 42 kWh option produces 99 kW (135 PS).
CRETA Electric features a three-year vehicle warranty (with no limit on kilometres) and an 8-year/1.6 lakh km battery warranty. Owners will enjoy three years of complimentary roadside assistance (RSA) and have the option of Hyundai’s Shield of Trust Package for up to five years (which includes running repair and maintenance). Additionally, the vehicle comes with a seven-year extended warranty.
