BHUJ, Jan 13: A Pakistani citizen was apprehended by the Border Security Force (BSF) while attempting to illegally enter India via the land border in Gujarat’s Kutch district, according to an official report released on Monday.
The individual was attempting to cross the border from an area north of Harami Nala on Sunday, as stated by the BSF.
“On January 12, alert BSF personnel noticed a Pakistani national crossing the international border and entering Indian territory from the area north of Harami Nala in Kutch,” the statement read.
BSF troops swiftly confronted and detained the individual, the release noted.
The intruder was identified as Babu Ali, hailing from Karo Ghoonghro village in Sujawal district of Sindh province, Pakistan.
Harami Nala serves as a natural waterway along the India-Pakistan international border. (PTI)
