AKHNOOR, Feb 24: Sunni Singh, a labourer from Gurha Manhasan, the last village near the Indo-Pak border, is among eight labourers trapped in a tunnel in Telangana state. His family is deeply shocked and is urgently requesting help from the government, as he has been trapped for three days.
The grieving family has reached out to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urging him to take swift action to rescue the trapped labourers so that Sunny can return home safely.
Notably, eight individuals have been stuck for three days after a section of the under-construction tunnel collapsed at the CLBC project site in Nagarkurnool district, Telangana. Rescue attempts are ongoing. The Army, NDRF, SDRF, and other agencies are tirelessly conducting operations, but so far, no success has been achieved.
Sunny Singh from Gurha Manhasan is among those trapped, causing significant concern for his family and the local community.
Ram Singh, Sunny’s father, reported that Sunny had been working as a machine operator in Kishtwar with the company for five years. He was sent to work on the Telangana tunnel project about two months ago, and it was only on the second day that they learned of his predicament. He mentioned that the company has not provided accurate information regarding Sunny’s situation. Ram Singh is pleading for Prime Minister Modi to take immediate action to ensure the safe evacuation of all workers trapped in the tunnel.
