MOSCOW, Jan 2: A passenger plane belonging to Russia’s S7 Airlines skidded off the runway while taxiing after its arrival at the airport in northern Norilsk on Thursday. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries.
The Airbus A321, which was carrying 79 passengers, was traveling from Moscow to Norilsk, as reported by Tass, referencing the local transport prosecutor’s office.
Following the incident, the aircraft has been temporarily grounded, and a different plane was dispatched for the return flight.
An investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of the incident.
