NEW DELHI, Dec 26: On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the pivotal role of youth in advancing the country and urged the adoption of a forward-thinking approach to equip them with skills in cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning. During the Veer Bal Diwas event, Modi highlighted the imperative to adapt to the swift changes and challenges present in various domains, underscoring the government’s commitment to “youth-centric” initiatives.
“We have transitioned from machines to machine learning. AI is now at the forefront, replacing traditional software. It is vital to prepare our youth to confront these challenges,” he asserted, affirming the government’s dedication to nurturing young talent and building their self-confidence.
At the Veer Bal Diwas ceremony, Modi paid tribute to the remarkable sacrifices made by Guru Gobind Singh’s sons, the Sahibzadas, who exemplified “unwavering courage and faith in the face of the Mughal Empire’s oppression.”
“On December 26, over 300 years ago, the Sahibzadas, despite their young age, showed extraordinary valor and gave their lives. They resisted all temptations and bore unimaginable suffering, demonstrating that the nation’s cause was their utmost priority,” he said, encouraging today’s youth to draw inspiration from their legacy.
