NEW DELHI, Feb 24: On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that approximately Rs 3.5 lakh crore has been transferred to the bank accounts of farmers through the PM-KISAN scheme. He emphasized that the government’s initiatives have provided farmers with dignity, prosperity, and newfound strength.
In a series of posts on X celebrating the initiative’s sixth anniversary, he mentioned that the agriculture sector has significantly advanced due to the actions taken by his administration over the past decade.
He highlighted that the financial assistance provided to millions of small farmers has enhanced their market access, resulting in reduced expenses and increased income.
